In this talk Barbara Skinner discusses the place of the Uniate, Orthodox, and Catholic churches in late Poland-Lithuania or the new western provinces of Catherinian Russia. Barbara Skinner is an Assistant Professor at Indiana State University in the History Department. Her first book, The Western Front of the Eastern Church explores the confrontation between Orthodoxy and Catholicism in Ukraine and Belarus in the eighteenth century.
