The author of many publications on journalism education and other media-related issues, she has conducted workshops and seminars for journalists throughout Russia and in Latvia, Turkey, Georgia, and the United States. She has taught Russian language and contemporary Russian media in the Indiana University Summer Workshop in Slavic, East European, and Central Asian Languages for over two decades.
